Sculpture is the thing you trip over while hanging a painting over a crack in the wall (said by somebody).
I sculpt by direct carving in either wood or stone. My paintings are either acrylic or oils. My themes vary from abstract to representational.
I believe my pieces should speak for themselves. If I had to write a lengthy explanation about each piece’s raison de etre, it would mean that
I should have been a novelist or at least a political speechwriter.
I love to sculpt and paint and will always sculpt and paint. If my pieces do not appeal to you, it is your decision. I need not tell
voluminous reasons why they should. If my art has any value, future generations will make their judgment without a lengthy discourse from me
on why they should like my work.
